11:20 am - Online shopping.
I need to stop online shopping. Like, now.  Figleaves is draining my money. I love it more than Victoria's Secret. Much now. I find they have more variety, and the search engine actually works. You don't have to spent hours finding exactly what you want.

Sadly, you do spend hours deciding between which ones you want to order now, and which ones to order later.

Also, ASOS . The place to stock up on summer clothes, for next year when they will be in fashion in Canada. Also, the jewelery and beauty sets are sweet. I'm in love with the detox kits. And the lipgloss that has a light in the lid, so you can use it in the clubs.

Finally, I bought my dad a 1973 Sunderland football jersey. That year, they won the FA, if I remember the website correct. Toffs  has current jerseys, classic ones. EPL, Continental teams, national teams, dream teams etc jerseys. Well worth looking around.

And that is how I have spent my last few days. That and sleeping and working. Rumor is I have over 100 hours on this coming paycheck. Thing is, I'm "just" a waitress. That does the filing now for the catering department at the hotel. Happy face.

Anyhow, life is getting better. And in four months, I get a piece of paper that says I am competent and will have graduated college. Am proud, almost. :)

01:35 pm - errr. hello
I am alive . . .and I like it. Mad recap, Carla style? Sure why not?

A) I still work at Holiday Inn. I still get cheap room rates. I will continue to work at Holiday Inn if I continue to get cheap room rates. (And I mean paying $88 CAN instead of over $200)

B) Toronto is still the shit for shopping. Unless you count Lesley of Bayfields, downtown location. Then slap my ass and call me happy. Although I don't think I can fit another Bench shirt into my wardrobe.

C) The older brother is going bald.

D) My frickin 8 month madatory school CO-OP is half done. And it only took me a year?

E) International Lacrosse turnament in London makes me a very happy, very horny girl. Kiwis, and Aussies, and Scotsmen and the list goes on. But how I did manage to go home with a Yankee after listing those men? Who know?

F) Anyone know about Jason Vale "The Juice Master"? The book reads interesting and I think I might try it out.

G) The Under 16 Girls Soccer Team I'm coaching has a 6 Wins, 1 Tie, 1 Lose record. And I'm called the Supercoach? Kickass!

More to come later, if I remember.

10:25 am - Longest Week Ever!
In fact, I think it might have been two weeks. I joined Goodlife Fitness March 10th. I also decided to go for a personal trainer so I really learn what I'm supposed to be doing. It's been fun so far. There are a bunch of group exercise classes, some of which I have made time for in my busy schedule *laugh track*.

Body Combat : The world's best martial arts fitness program including karate, boxing and taekwondo disciplines. There was a woman in my first class that was a little too into it for me. I was feeling realy sorry for whomever she imagined she was hitting.

Body Jam: Is an addictive fusion of fance and aerobic moves. The blend includes the latest of hiphop, funk, and Latin music, together with the coolest sounds topping the charts. Pretty much, it's a ball. Everyone is laughing through it all. No one is overly intense.

I went to see a concert Thursday night. Excuse me but  TOTALLY FUCKING AWESOME. The first band was a local talent. The second band was Idle Sons. Brillant. The fact that I remember their name after *cough* drinks tells you how much they impressed me. And of course, the headliners were The Trews. I have had the pleasure of seeing them live last year, and this was just as good, if not better. Sadly, there was a casualty that night. I had the pleasure of slipping and then falling down the stairs at the venue. And then landing on the security's legs. Thankful, he laughed. I cryed, then went outside for a smoke. Today I see that I have a bruised tailbone, and bruises all over my bum/upper leg.

That's it for now.

Oh no, DAVE MATTHEWS AT THE MOLSON AMP. IN TORONTO, TICKETS ON SALE NOW.

That is all.

10:02 am - Hey There
Well. I think I will skip over the compulsary recap of my life, and hopefully just dive right back in.

That being said, my trip (way back in August) was amazing. I met three great people in London, and I am sorry that I haven't kept in contact. That seems to be the motto of my life lately.

My love for Chelsea (and I blame people on LJ for that:) ) is causing disagreements with my father (a die hard Sunderland fan). Funny disagreements, usually ended by me saying something about John Terry's body. And how it's nicer than all of Sunderland.

Work is still work. Nothing new there, although I am thinking about getting a second job to occupy my time. I feel I have a lot of "do nothing" time. And I really am doing nothing.

I joined Good Life Fitness (a gym all over Canada). I'm thinking I like it. There are some great classes there, and a lot of new people to meet too.

Well, I'm sure I'll spam for a few days as I find new things on LJ.

Hugs to everyone

04:16 pm - Quick Q&A
For those in the know:

Would it be at all possible to visit Canterbury and Rye in one day?

I mean, leave London at 7am for Canterbury (arrive around 9am), do Canterbury until 12pm and leave for Rye. Arrive in Rye about 1:30pm. Do Rye until 7:40pm leave for London, to arrive at 9:40ish.

Yes I expect to be tired, don't even consider that. I'm sure to be exhasted by this point.

Any reasons to not bother seeing either places?

12:56 pm - Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games
What a title. Anyway, by pleading with a co-worker, I somehow managed to get Saturday August 13th off work. While walking around town, I
discovered that Fergus is having it's annual Highland Festival this weekend. It's supposedly really well known, and very popular. I figured, it would be a
different thing to do on the weekend, instead of just hanging out in london.

This is the website: Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games for some information. I know the tickets are 20$ for all day. Which, if you look at the activities, seems reasonable. I have a car to drive up with, so I can take 3 or 4 people, depending if you want to squeeze or not.

I'll do some calling around to see if anyone is interested tonight.

05:49 pm
I have managed to break my high school graduation necklace (white gold and diamonds) and the necklace my mother just bought me for my trip (St. Christopher and the Miraculous Medal). Today. Fullstop.

In other news, I feel I want to make a separate journal just for my trip and it's pictures. However, since I'm only going for three weeks I wonder if it will be worth it, or will people judge.

Then I think, screw you judgers, once I think of a witty name, I'm doing it.

Feel free to suggest names people, feel free.

ETA: I get bored easily. [info]touringhome clicky clicky there, i won't post anything about my trip here.

03:24 pm - Hmmm. Futureshop is fun
Jermey took me to Futureshop the other day and because of some "uncalled for behaviour" from the Customer Services Agent, I got to shop with Staff Discount.

Which presents problems such as:
Do I like black, red or silver better?
Should I get a bigger screen?
Where is Dead Like Me located?

After much humming and hawwing, I was told to get the following: an MP3 Player, a Portable DVD Player, FM Transmitter and a Memory Stick.

Of that, all I wanted was the MP3 player and the memory stick. Somehow, alot more money was spent.

Be back later with a real update.

01:28 pm - Ohhh Chacougers
I have a list.

1) My feet hurt. Stupid sidewalk

2) John = Quagmire. Giddity

3) It's not fair to promise Tequila then go have sex.

4) How did I fail to eat the poutine?

5) Everytime we go to a bar, I always find the "Bar Hobbit". Every single time. At least this one was nice.

6) Sarah is the bomb. Must hang out with her more.

7) 25 Days. London, as far as today goes, is still a destination for me. And Lila, I sent you an email.

10:25 am
As I sit here reading CNN, my first reaction was "Damnit, not again. Stupid people, when will you learn?" But are these the same group of people (not literally the same people, but the group), or copycats? I'm relieved to know that there is less casualties.

Then I started to think about my mother. And how she tried to cancel my tickets last time, without telling me.

I am coming. Come hell or high water, I am flying out in less than one month and I am going to be in London for a portion of my trip.

Hey Y'all.

I finished Harry Potter last night.

But I need help understanding this thing they call "The Tube". *huge eyes to all in London*

I would to know anything those crazy days passes such as (using little, non-technical words) where they work. All I know is that I am beside the British Museum. If that helps.

Yeah. And they call me a grown up.

I just heard on CNN.

Is everyone in London safe? I haven't read my f'list yet, and I'm worried since Minto and Lila (where is my head at?) work for the Underground.

ETA: Nevermind. he posted. gah.
